Hungry Recycling cover the Borough of Epsom & Ewell and most areas within the Borough of Elmbridge – we can confirm either way when you make the first booking or email us and we will answer.

How to Book a Collection

• Click on Book a Collection at top right of our website or on the button below
• Complete the form
• In the description box please indicate quantity of bags and boxes
• For the final Attachments box please Add a picture of the bags / boxes that you would like collected

What happens next?

• One of our job bookers will come back to you with any questions that relate to any information in your booking, they will advise you of an anticipated collection date, and will confirm the price to pay based on the information and pictures provided.
• On the basis that you are happy to book the job then make payment by bank transfer. Sorry we don’t take cards or cheques. If you want to pay cash on collection then the Operator on the day will provide a receipt for payment.
• Sit down and enjoy your freshly groomed garden 😊
• If you generate additional garden waste before the Operator arrives on your collection day, either email us in advance or speak with the Operator on the day.

Pricing

We are more expensive than your normal Green Waste Council collection but we don’t have the same vehicles or access to the same recycling routes for disposal.

Terms & Conditions

• Bags / Boxes to be collected should be at the front edge of your property by 9am and visible from the road so that they don’t get missed.
• Unfortunately as we only use a van we cannot collect from a wheelie bin.
• Any material that is not acceptable by the operator on the day will not be collected.
• We will be making collections every fortnight in your area – please book your collections in advance as we don’t know what the take up will be and we may have to do a first come first served.
• We will collect  Garden waste, such as leaves, grass cuttings, hedge and tree cuttings, and similar materials
• Tree Trunks over 4” in diameter will be charged for at an additional cost
• We will not collect food/kitchen waste, fruit, vegetable peelings, eggshells , teabags or any animal bedding, food, or droppings. If the Operator on the does not like the look of the bags / boxes then it is totally their prerogative to refuse the collection
• We will not collect soil, hardcore, bricks, concrete etc.
• Please note the Garden waste must be placed loose in the bags / boxes
